Mustafa is a criminal and traffic law solicitor at Blackridge Law. He has practiced exclusively in criminal defence since joining the legal profession, and has quickly established himself as a sharp, effective advocate across all levels of the NSW court system.
His caseload spans the full range of criminal law, from Local Court traffic matters through to Supreme Court murder trials. He has acted in cases involving murder, large-scale commercial drug supply, firearms offences linked to counter-terrorism investigations, and organised crime matters including those connected to outlaw motorcycle gangs. He has appeared alongside some of Australia's most experienced Senior Counsel and King's Counsel on the most serious indictable matters.
Mustafa brings the same rigour to every matter he handles. A first offence drug possession charge gets the same level of preparation as a Supreme Court bail application. He is known for his thorough case analysis, his ability to identify weaknesses in the prosecution evidence, and his direct, no-nonsense communication style. Clients appreciate that he tells them where they stand early and gives them a clear plan.
He has particular strength in traffic law, regularly defending clients charged with drink driving, drug driving, dangerous and negligent driving, and licence-related offences. He understands the practical consequences of these charges on people's livelihoods and works to protect both their licence and their criminal record.
Mustafa works closely with Mohamed Bejjaoui to ensure every Blackridge Law client receives coordinated, strategic representation. He is available for urgent matters, including after-hours bail applications, and offers free initial consultations.
