Before establishing Gramelis Attorneys, Eugene practised for 16 years as a barrister and was a member of Culwulla Chambers, a family law barristers’ chambers renowned for its expertise in family law and producing several Judges of the Family Court of Australia and the Full Court. As a barrister, Eugene specialised in complex property disputes and high-conflict parenting matters, including family law cases involving cross-jurisdictional elements in commercial, corporate, trusts and equity law.

Eugene has played a pivotal role in numerous significant cases that have helped shape modern family law in Australia, many of which continue to be cited as authoritative precedents in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia today.
